Victoria and the other side: Going into something that maybe was left hanging and that I think connects with my theory is the fact that Victoria was able to get to the wrong side. At first I just thought it had something to do with the ability to get her soul out of her body, which may be true but the weird thing is that we never get the explanation if this is something that Faraouk can do and comes out of the family spirit powers or is something new, on the other hand if she were to be an echo of the true Victoria she wouldn’t be able to “see” the world clearly plus the fact that when she left her real body it seemed it was dying or it was hardly thinking or even doing the basics as eating, so I do think that that Victoria should be her soul so if she leaves her body for too long she could die, the misterious thing is that nevertheless the was able to visit the wrong side, why and how? This then leads me to my conspiracy, I think this could be the key answer of how Ophelia will find Thorn or how Thorn will leave the Wrong side, I think Victoria could be the answer.

Nonostante tutte le problematiche che questa saga può avere, non riesco a non amarla. Dabos, ti prego, non mandare tutto in vacca con il quarto volume. Ti prego. Les disparus du Clairdelune, Gallimard Jeunesse, Collection Romans Ado, 560p, 2015, ( ISBN 9782070661985) Berenilde is the aunt of Thorn and a favorite of Farouk, not to say the queen of the favorites. L’héroïne me ressemble, sans être totalement moi. J’aime nos différences autant que j’aime les morceaux de moi que j’ai mis en elle. Je suis son Eulalie, elle est mon Ophélie. The only criticism I have for the book is the dragging in the middle when Ophelia arrives to Pole, and tries to get to know people. The relationships, the court dynamics took too long to settle in my opinion. It’s a classic pit hole in fantasy books, and unfortunately Dabos couldn’t escape this as well. cerebral type, above all very secret. It’s difficult to find out about his deepest thoughts. Ophelie won’t wait long before putting her own pitch of salt into his mechanics. This work is a translation of another work of mine, Honra e Prejuízo. I decided to translate it so that it could reach more people. Forgive my mistakes, but I did my best, even though English is not my mother tongue. Series Ophelia is an Anima with the specific gift of being able to read the emotions, thoughts, and scenes of objects belonging to past owners. She is extremely powerful at this, being one of the few who were actually trained to develop their power further. She also has the ability to be able to travel through mirrors. Ophelia is head-strong but soft spoken and loves her job in a museum here she can read the past items if she wishes to. Unlike her family members, she is not interested in appearances and couldn't care less about marriage or reproducing.

With themes of loyalty, duty and independence this magical world is filled with treachery but it also holds hope. While fantasy and written for a 13+ audience, it’s also a coming of age story, similar to Harry Potter and will appeal to all ages. After a misunderstanding, Ophelia is promoted to Vice-storyteller by the ancestral Spirit of the Pole, Lord Farouk. We have another character calling a woman a slut just because she was sleeping with her brother and we have another character who ... ugh... let me just show you.. You can love upon one single look. By the way, you love each other really well only when you don’t really now each other well. » Et si Dieu n'avait jamais existé ? As declining the marriage would mean banishment and family shame, Ophelia has to leave behind her family and much loved museum to the cold ark known as the Pole and follow her fiancee to the Citaceleste, the Capital. Here things are not as they seem and Ophelia is unable to trust anybody. Dabos won the first "Premier roman jeunesse" (trad: "First young adult novel") contest organized by Gallimard Jeunesse, RTL, and Télérama in the spring of 2012, with her script for A Winter’s Promise. [1]Affascinante vedere come sia stato elaborato un sistema magico molto particolare, dove in ogni Arca (ovvero in ogni regno/regione) ognuno possiede un potere specifico, diverso da ogni altro. a b "Par ici les sortilèges Rencontre avec Christelle Dabos". Libération.fr (in French) . Retrieved 27 April 2018. A novel that takes place in a world so similar, yet different, to our own. God has gotten angry and smashed the world into little pieces. It sees Ophelia travel to a distant ark, as these fragments of the world are now called, for an arranged marriage to Thorn, the Pole ark's treasurer. Ophelia has certain gifts, just by touching an object she can read the feelings and mindset of people who have previously touched that object, and she also has the ability to travel through mirrors. Yet others have more powerful abilities and she fails to see why someone as insignificant as herself has been requested as Thorn's wife. She finds that people on the Pole ark aren't always as they seem, some she trusted will try to betray her, but she also finds some unexpected allies. What follows is a tale of political intrigue, manipulation and secrets as Ophelia finds that the truth is scarier than she first thought, and those around her find her stronger than she looks. Long ago, following a cataclysm called ‘the Rupture’, the world was shattered into many floating celestial islands, named the Arks. The inhabitants of these arks each possess a unique power
